Sponsors must be at least 18 years of age and be active duty, dependents, retirees, reservists, auxiliarists and DHS & DOD civilian employees. Must be 21 years of age for alcohol functions. Identification is required.

The sponsor is responsible for the conduct of all guests in attendance. 

For security reasons, an alphabetized guest list is due to the Portside Manager at least 15 days prior to the event.

Final payment for all events must be received 10 days prior to the event.

The Portside is a non-smoking facility. Smoking is permitted outside on the veranda area only.

No alcohol may be brought into the facility. Violators will forfeit their deposit and future use.

A security deposit is required and due at the time of contract signing. Dates will not be held without a signed contract and security deposit payment.

All state laws are in affect while on board Base Portsmouth.

Payment from sponsor is accepted in the form of Cash, Check, and Visa or Mastercard. All checks should be made payable to MWR Portsmouth.
